We’re kicking off the new season with our usual Open Day.

We’re encouraging anyone interested in coming back to hockey or existing players looking for a new club to join us. We are running two separate sessions for men and women.

The men’s session is taking place between noon and 2pm at Southbury Leisure Centre in Southbury Road, Enfield, while the ladies’ trials are taking place from 2pm-4pm at Highlands School in Worlds End Lane, Winchmore Hill.

Existing players will play games and think about teams for the new season, but new players are encouraged to come along and find a spot in one of our teams or, for beginners, simply try their hand with a hockey stick and get a feel for the friendly atmosphere of the club.

In true WH&E style we’ll be heading back to the club afterwards for our first social of the evening. To start off, we’ll be having a relaxed and chilled BBQ to wind down after the day’s hockey activities.

All football fixtures along with the Ireland v England Rugby match (KO at 14.30) will be shown at the club. It would great to see you all down there to welcome in the new season!
